Here's the bottom line: Rude Mechs has a $205K annual operating budget and, after earned income, our shortfall each year is $155K. That shortfall must be made through the generous support of people like you. Joining the Multi-Year Giving Society is the very best way you can show your enthusiasm for Rude Mechs and help us close this gap. Below are descriptions of the suggested pledge categories which you will find on the pledge form. These are some suggestions about how you can have the largest impact on our company's stability, but we wholeheartedly welcome multi-year pledges of any amount that you can make.

Sponsor an Actor – $1,000 per year for 5 years: If you who can make a contribution of $1000 a year to sponsor an Actor in one of our mainstage shows, it will provide much-needed stability for Rude Mechs and the artists that work with us. One thousand dollars is only $83 a month. Please check the "Sponsor an Actor" box if you can do that.

Sponsor a Cast – $5,000 per year for 5 years: Maybe you are able to give more; You may have a corporate or family foundation, or just the capacity to give at a larger level. We have about 5 actors in each cast. We’d like you to consider giving $5,000 a year for the next five years to Sponsor a Cast of actors. If you can do that, check the "Sponsor a Cast" box.

Sponsor an Audience – $10,000 per year for 5 years: By sponsoring an audience, you will ensure that we can continue to take the kind of artistic risks that you have come to expect and you will help us keep our shows affordable for all Austinites, regardless of their ability to pay.

Endow an Actor for Life for $20,000: Perhaps you don't want to give to operating expenses and would rather make a contribution that you know will endow a secure future for Rude Mechs. If you give a gift of $5000 a year for four years ($20,000), we’ll put that money in an investment account. We figure it will earn 5% interest. That annual interest equals $1000 a year (the exact same amount as the "Sponsor an Actor" category). You would be endowing an Actor forever!

Choose your own amount: You can also just tell us how much you’d like to give and for how long. Checking the "I would like to contribute in other ways" box lets you do just that. Whatever you can give, we truly, deeply appreciate.
